Trailer for Is This Thing On Starring Will Arnett and Bradley Cooper Released
According to CinemaDrame News Agency, the first trailer for Is This Thing On, starring Bradley Cooper, Will Arnett, and Laura Dern, has been unveiled. The film will premiere on October 10 as the closing night selection of the New York Film Festival.
Inspired by the life of British comedian John Bishop, the story follows a couple, played by Arnett and Dern, who are raising two children while teetering on the edge of divorce. Arnett plays Alex, a man making a late turn toward stand-up comedy in New York’s West Village. The cast also includes Andra Day, Christine Ebersole, Sean Hayes, Peyton Manning, Amy Sedaris, and Ciarán Hinds.
Cooper not only stars but also serves as a producer through his company, Archery Pictures. Arnett co-wrote the screenplay with Mark Chappell.
With nine Academy Award nominations for films such as American Sniper, American Hustle, A Star Is Born, Silver Linings Playbook, and Nightmare Alley, Cooper most recently directed Maestro for Netflix and made a cameo in James Gunn’s Superman.
Searchlight Pictures will release Is This Thing On on December 19.
